28 weeks pregnant - could baby be engaged or have caught my flu?

Hi Everyone,

For the past week and a half my 18 month old and myself have been sick with headaches, earaches, nausea, gastro, whole body weakness, loss of appetite (a real first for me lol). I am 28 weeks pregnant with our second son.

For the past few days my belly has been low and not sticking out as much (it's quite wobbly when i sit down with fat folds like I'm not pregnant), I have been feeling alot of movement in my pelvis area and a vibrating feeling like its just above my cervix. Any larger movement is no longer under my ribs, it just all feels quite low. I have had diarrhea (sorry if TMI) for two days now, which i associate with being sick as DS1 has had it too.

I have a doc appointment this week, but being the stressed out pregnant woman i am, i wanted to see if anyone may know anything about this? Surely the baby could not be engaged yet? Or could the baby be sick from what I have had? Or could the baby just be in a wierd position?

I'm pretty sure your baby can't catch that sort of thing in utero, but perhaps it has dropped already, or just changed position.
