I have been reading on the net and read somewhere that along with a high nuchal fold, if baby is measuring bigger it can indicate DS or other abnormalities. Does anyone know anything about this?
I know at times of worry we head to the net for some research and it stresses us out even more hands up who hasnt done it. If you are at all concerned speak to someone about it and try to get as much info from them if you can. The net has so much information out there and can give conflicting advice or information. Its good resource to have but make sure you can check out this information from reliable sources. Try not to stress
No point stressing over something you don't know yet. Im sure bub will be fine. Yes, a high Nuchal fold measurement (a measurement of a fold of skin at the back of the neck) can idicate some abnormalities. But that in itself isnt a diagnosis. If there is a concern, they will then send you for an amniocentisis, if you would like one.

I agree with MummaMia... there really is no need to be concerned right now. If you have risk factors such as downs within your family then you may expect to be in a higher risk catagory but that's not always the case.
I have had 2 NT scans and both have been fine (all different pregnancies obviously). I am booked in for Monday to have my 3rd and I'm not too worried... it is normal to be a little nervous and I am a little nervous.
Don't worry yourself hun... if something comes up, cross that bridge when it is here. I will keep everything crossed for you but I am sure you'll be fine
