I know that it does not matter how big your baby is, etc etc BUT
My last appointment i was 30 weeks and i was measuring 32 weeks
I had an ultrasound at 32w 3days and i measured 33w 5 days and a rough weight was 5pound
I went for an appointment today which i am 33w 3days and I am measuring 38 WEEKS!!! WTF!!!!
I have never had a BIG baby before and i know that none of this DEFINITLY means that this baby will be big, but i can't help but stress about it!!!!!!!!
The DR today wants me to do the 2hour gloucose challenge test, even though my last one was nomal!!
Why does something always have to go wrong???
Has this happend to anyone else????
Thanks
Goodness, that's a big difference in size, a week between scans! Doesn't seem right... (As in, I think they've stuffed up)
Do you look bigger than your other pg's?
Looks like they will be monitoring things for you and you'll probably end up with another scan to check on size again, so hopefully they will give you a bit more accurrate scan.
In saying that though, I've had 2 'big' babies with another decent sized one on the way and I reckon there's probably not really a lot of difference in pain etc.. from delivering a 6 pounder to a 10 pounder
You'll be right mate, whatever happens

Please try not to worry too much about it. Depending on how good the sonographer is, they could have stuffed up. This bub's estimated weight at 36 weeks was 7lb 4oz, but I'm not fussed at all, and neither are the midwives. You've birthed 3 babies before this, your body knows what it's doing. Trust it honey.
Look even if your measurements did indicate a big baby (which I don't think it does). So what.
Seriously, what does it really matter if your baby is on the bigger side?
I say this as someone who's last baby was 10pounds. Size really doesn't matter.
Hi,
My midwife said that with the weight and stuff they can be up to 800grams out either way. My baby at 34 weeks was 2.4kgs, so she could be 1.6-3.2kgs already...
I wouldnt really stress, your body wouldnt grow a babe you couldnt birth.
