Very heavy AF - sorry TMI

AF arrived yesterday, had a headache the day before, which is normal. Yesterday AF seemed heavier than normal and I noticed a clot. Today I woke up with a massive headache, which I still have, during the night I needed to change my pad and normally at night the bleeding is much less. Today bleeding has been really heavy with many clots. My body is probably just changing with age (I"m getting old) just wondering if anyone else has had changes in their AF. Feeling very hot and tired too. TIA.

    Regards,
    Dianne

If this is not *normal* or you, it might be a good idea to see a Dr about it, especially if it continues next month. This month might just be a once off, but if it happens again, I would see a Dr.

Thanks Trillian, I will see my GP if next cycle is anything like this one. Thank you.

i only ever had AF's like what you've described before they'd diagnosed my endo. Once i had the surgeries to remove it, my AF's went to "normal" (5 days) med/light flow.

Not sure of your age, but my sister who's turning 37 was describing exactly what you just did regarding her AF being really heavy and painful, whereas they never used to be!

Hope it lets up soon hun
