Yep, another boys name thread...

We are really struggling with boys names for this bub. We just can't find one that is the *right* name. Our kids names are Lily Kate and Liam Jeffery. We have a few that we're ok with, but not that knocks our socks off, like the other kids names did. We would like something thats not totally out there, but not in the top 10 either. Middle names will be either James, Mark, Matthew or Charles.

So any suggestions?

Will watch this thread with interest as we are in the same position, pretty much same criteria too. Easy to pronounce and spell but not common, def not 10.

DH and I have finally decided on a boys name, Malachi. I think its nice, not too out there, but not a common name either. I'm tempted to spell it Malakye, but we'll see what happens. Gotta fall pregnant first

Of the names already mentioned, I like Sebastian, Elliott and Rowan. IMHO, Lachlan is too similar to Lily and Liam.

LOL, Tegam, I find it easy to suggest names for others, but my own kids...well, not so easy!

We had chosen Lachlan, whch *I* still like, but DH found out it's one of the top 10 names in Aus, and now he's not so sold on it! Mind you our other two kids names are in the top 50! There are sooo many names I have suggested to DH that he just doesn't like-

Lucas (it's a friends little boys name, but we're unlikely to see this friend in a looong time!)
Owen (DH doesn't like the character on Grey Anatomy... no seriously!)
Callum (DH doesn't like the nick-name Cal)
Jeremy (DH just doesn't liek it)
Hamish (as above)

DH has suggested Dylan, while it's a lovely name, I have terrible name association and being an Early childhood teacher, have known alot of Dylan's, (not to offend anyone) but most have been the most misbehaved child in the room at the time!

There have been soooo many more names, but nothing else is standing out. If only he was a she, I had the perfect name!

Also agree that about the Dylan name. Whilst they have all been good looking they have all had a naughty side!
