    Normal porridge or baby porridge?

Which one to give my 6 month old?

We're doing BLS and we'll have porridge together in the mornings (her using her hands obviously).

So is it ok to give her normal porridge?

I'd say normal - I have beeen giving DS2 porridge since 6 mths - I soak the oats in milk overnight & microwave in the morning & its so creamy & yum.

I just use normal porridge just rolled oats with full fat milk and have since 6 months. Is easy then I just make up one lot for both of us.

Cool thanks guys. I cook them the old fashioned way, on the stove for about 20 minutes simmering!
    Nice!

    Thanks again

I'd say better than the processed stuff with added *whatever*!!
Especially while you are still breast feeding and supplying all of missy moo's needs there.

I used normal porridge too, the baby stuff has added iron. They shouldn't need that while BF and more chance of getting constipated too.
