I am wanting to get some new wheels for our new little one.
DS will be 3 in a few months and he likes to walk but i very rarely let him when we are at the shops because he just wants to go off and do what he wants and we would be there hours. He will just run and then sit himself down and chuck tanties.
So would you get a pram that can convert to a double?? Or just get a pretty single pram for the newbie?
I have been looking at prams for weeks and there a few i like and i have narrowed it down to 4.
Baby Jogger city mini
Baby Jogger mini double
Baby Jogger city Select
Peg Perego Skate 2010
Phil and Ted - not sure which one but this is my last choice just because they are everywhere and very common.
The others are in no particular order on preference :0
Seeing as your DS is 3 and sounds almost ready to walk by himself I would get a single and a sling. Early on while bub is a titch you can push your DS and carry bub and once bub is a bit older, then you can push bub and DS could walk by then? Bribery might work? My DD went from terrible at the shops, running off etc. to really great really quickly.
We got a strider plus 4 pram just for the fact we can put a second seat on. But then we dont want another child until DD is 3 but incase things dont go to plans we have that option.
I think a sling & single pram as well. We have a P&T, awesome pram, but my DD2 who is 2 rarely uses it as she likes to walk. I've only used it as a double pram about 4 times since DD3 was born.
I'd get the single as well. What about those skateboard type things that attach to the back of the pram, would he stand on one of them? No idea what they are like, have never used one.
My DS likes to take his toy trolley to the shops with us so he can go shopping too! Not sure if yours would just take off with it but it seems to have subdued our DS.
I have decided on the city select and we are going to get the second seat as DD1 even loves to get in the pram for a ride still. Plus we are thinking maybe we may have one more bub - even if we don't this is the best option for us right now plus with the dollar being so good atm we are getting it from the US and HEAPS cheaper than here :0
