Hi all, I have a bugaboo cameleon and love it. My DD is 4 months old and we are still using the bassinet. I have just recently started to think about swapping her to the actual seat and was wondering when everyone else did it? I know quite a few prams come with a bassinet. What are the pros and cons of switching?
DD is happy enough in the bassinet but I guess she doesn't know anything else. We keep the pram hood down as much as possible and she likes to look out. Mostly she just likes to see us so as long as we have her facing us she is pretty happy.

I have the same pram and swapped to the seat at about 3 months as DS screamed and hated the bassinet (unless asleep). But my advice is to keep it as long as your DD allows you to. They grow up far too fast, I really missed looking at DS in the bassinet attachment. He just suddenly grew up, hold onto the baby days for as long as you can.
We had a bassinet on our pram and DD hated it! We ended up using the normal seat (we have a Baby Jogger City Elite, 3 wheeler) when she was 9 weeks and she was so much happier.
