I am looking at getting some sort of skate board/buggy board attachment to go on a Bugaboo Chameleon for when baby #3 arrives..
I was wondering if anyone has used either the Lascal kiddy board or the actual Bugaboo one.?!? I suppose my concerns are that the Bugaboo one looks really long and might interfere with walking while the Lascal might be too short (especially when the pram is in bassinette mode) and make it uncomfortable for the older child (they will be 4 & 3yrs).
I used the bugaboo brand skateboard, it did get in the way but that was the origonal one the newer version seems smaller? I found when the bassinette was attached there really wasnt much room, so Ds2 was in the hug a bub and Ds2 was in the pram.
Maybe you can go to a baby store and ask to try one out?
Good luck x
hi! we recently got the older version bugaboo board off ebay for our bugaboo gecko.
what i have found is that it can get in the way in the beginning as i wasnt used to it being there, but now that i have been using it for about 3 weeks i don't notice it nearly as much. what i like about it (as opposed to the lascal, which my friend uses) is that because it is that bit longer my 3 year old is able to sit down on it, which is really useful if they get really tired and dont want to stand anymore. i would think that if you have the chameleon and can adjust the handle (you cant on our gecko model) then you could in theory slightly extend the handle and largely avoid having the board interfere with your walking...(this is what DH and i reckon when we have checked out ppl using the cham lol).
FWIW we LOVE it! i do recommend checking out the new one and seeing how it feels too. we didnt really notice much difference, so decided to go cheap and get one off ebay (the new models are already avail on there too!!).
