Cheap and portable lay back strollers

I love my pram (P&T's Dash) but am looking to buy a cheapie little stroller to keep in the back of the car, for travel and also for when a friend and bub visits very soon. I was going to get one of the little $30 umbrella ones but want to be able to lay it back if the one being strolled wants to Zzzzz.

Can anyone recommend one? I don't really want to go over $100 but not sure I'll get what I want for that kind of $?

I am after the same thing as well.

I have looked around a little and Steelcraft make a red one calling Holiday I think. They are sold in Target & Big W and are $99 I think. There was also another one in a baby store close to me that was down to $89 but the name escapes me, will have a think.

its pretty big but it was cheap like $60 bucks or so and not too heavy and can recline

apparently the maclarens are better ones though but i couldnt justify the money spent on it

Have a look on Gumtree! I got a Steelcraft one on there that lays back. It's not as small as an umbrella stroller but I just leave it in the car for shopping centres etc...

I have my P&T for walking and my Steelcraft for the boot!

My mum and dad bought a Steelcraft Holiday for that reason... And of course they needed to have one of everything in order to be the best grandparents in the world!

It seems to be exactly what you are after. They bought it for $89 from Kmart or something similar on sale.

Thanks for that, I'll check out the Holiday tomorrow. I did see a Babylove hmmm Adventura I think it was, on sale for $135 (from $185) that was pretty nice, but I'm proud I didn't just buy it, I'll be patient and look around!

M21SB we don't have Aldi here otherwise I'd check it out

Doodlebug that's my plan, one for walking and one just to leave in the back, I'll see what I can find.

The steelcraft is ok. We bought the next one up (dunno name) but used the holiday when we were in NZ. It was fine.

    I'm in the same boat!

I want a cheap one that lays back too and isn't too short - a lot of the strollers have handles to low and it kills my back!
