    Cot pillow?

How many of you have/would use them? I have 2 older kids, and i never used them, but looking for nursery stuff for this baby, all the sheet sets come with a pillow case for the cot, plus looking at a baby store yesterday, every cot set up had a cot pillow in there. Now i know cot bumpers are supposed to be bad, i've never used them, but what's with cot pillows? i never gave pillows to my kids until they were around 2 or 3, they say that they don't really need them till then...just curious...

Yeah I bought one but more to 'finish' the cot when I make it... but I think it has since been packed away
Not safe for bubs, but our cot converts to a toddler bed so I will need a pillow at some point, so glad the sheet sets come with a pillowcase

Most cots convert to a toddler bed these days, so I guess that's why they include a pillowcase, for when bub is old enough to be in the bed rather than the cot.
Cot bumpers are actually a SIDS risk, but I did buy an AirMesh cot wrap. It goes around the inside of the cot like a bumper but is made from that mesh material so it is breathable, but it prevents them banging their heads against the bars of the cot/sticking arms and legs through the gaps, and unlike a cot bumper it squashes down if they stand on it so they can't use it to climb up the side of the cot.
