Ricotta cheese

Hi all,

Have a yummy recipe for dessert for Christmas that has ricotta in it. Am I able to eat ricotta???

Is it cooked? If it was cooked I'd eat it, if it wasn't I probably wouldn't.

It's not cooked, just mixed in with cream into like a cheesecake type mix. Ah well, guess I'll forgo it this year
