    Anterior placenta...

    Hi,

Just wondering how many of you lovely ladies have had/ do have an Anterior placenta.

And when did you feel your bubs move??
Im almost 20 weeks and have felt nothing, even tho he is a huge wriggler (we discovered at our scan).

I really feel like i am missing out

I have one - I first felt movement at 14w6d, and felt heaps for two weeks, then not much for two weeks, then it kicked back in and hasn't stopped since.

I remember one day though, I'd just been for a huge walk, and I sat down afterwards, and there was just this absolute frenzy on the inside; I realised I was feeling kicks, and not just wriggles or flutters. That was at about 20-21 weeks. It'll happen soon, and you'll get heaps!

I had an anterior placenta with DS2 and 3, I didn't feel movement until pretty late maybe around 20 weeks with DS2 (although that was a long time ago so can't remember to the date) I remember being worried because I felt DS1 months before. No one told me about anterior placentas back then. DS3 I felt at about 14 weeks I think, but very faint still then. There have been a lot of threads on here about this in the past so I'm sure you'll get lots of reassuring answers from others as well.

I had one for DD, didnt feel her kicks until 22 weeks and have one now with this pregnancy but it is high so ive been able to feel kicks only down low properly from about 17 weeks. As apposed to DS who's placenta was prosterior and DH felt his kicks at 16 weeks. So it can all be different for each baby. Dont worry youll be feeling them soon

i think it depends on how infront it is, both times ive had it its kinda been off to the right a bit, so i feel everything on my left side and a majority of the right is like a dull zone ITMS?

I felt some niggles at 19wks, but I thought they were just digestive gurgles. At 20 weeks I realised it was probably kicks because it happened after I had eaten a particulalry sweet treat and now feel them on most days.

From what I've read from others, it will happen but just a bit later and I'm sure bubs will make up for it.

I had an anterior placenta and felt the first kick just before the scan at 20+ weeks. From 21 weeks, the kicks picked up.

I have an anterior placenta and didn't feel anything till after the 20 week scan... so maybe at about 21-22 week mark?

Last time the placenta was posterior and I felt the first movements just before the scan so about 19 weeks.

I have an anterior placenta this pregnancy and have never had one before.

I felt the first movements just after the morphology scan. DH has only just recently been able to feel the kicks.
