    Question When should it stop?

My hair falling out that is.

whenever i shower or brush my hair i pull out huge clumps of hair out. My hair now looks really ratty and just really unhealthy.

There is hair all over my house, im forever pulling my hair off my clothes and off DD and its driving DP nuts!

I don't remember when exactly my hair stopped falling out. But I'm pretty sure I kept losing hair for at least 6 months after Moo was born! Used to drive me insane too, it was just so unhealthy!

I don't know how long your hair is, but would a decent cut help? I know my hair didn't feel anywhere near as thin and yuck once I had a good chop.

I lost heaps, and it went on for months. In the end I started wearing pretty scarfs and bandannas until the regrowth was long enough to be hidden. If nothing else it's a great excuse to go shopping

Its fairly long im thinking of getting it layered so it makes it look a bit better. I have to keep it in a messy bun to stop it from falling out everywhere and i only really take it out to shower or do my hair nice when i go out.

I had a hormonal change about your age, and I haven't stopped losing hair since! At the time I thought it was because I dyed my hair black for the first time, but my GP said its normal to have a hormonal change around 20-22. He said the main thing to watch for is bald patches - while I lose a LOT of hair, and I'm talking clumps, it's growing in at the same rate. If you have thick hair, you'll notice loss in your brush more, but it won't be visible on your scalp

Mine stopped falling out around 8 months. I ended up getting it cut above my shoulders. I now have a fringe to hide the regrowth.

my hair is really fine and the regrowth was really noticible (sorry) but honestly get yourself a pretty scary and it will completely disguise it.

Mine didn't even *start* falling out until DD2 was 9 months old, I completely cr-pped myself because I had no idea what was going on! Thankfully it only lasted a few months and now the hair fall I get is because my hair's so damaged from bleaching But, it's still a huge improvement over the hormonal hair fall!
Hope it passes quickly for you, chick, it's different for everyone. Go have a chat to your hairdresser if it's really worrying you and get her to help you choose a fab new style and maybe even colour to boost your self-esteem and make you feel more like a yummy mummy!

My hair loss is driving me CRAZY!!! The doc told me that it will keep falling out until I stop breastfeeding I can't wear my hair down at all. Seriously thinking about getting it all chopped off. The short look doesn't suit me tho
