Any idea what could cause this?

Well, look away if you are squeamish. I give up warning people that this is a TMI post because this is BB and nothing is ever TMI .

This AF is really weird. It is 2 days early, watery brown blood, and it just stopped (only half a day of light bleed, I guess it might start up again tomorrow, who knows).

I was on AB's this month for a UTI that gave me thrush, also started new meds to lower my prolactin (Dostinex). Could this cause it?

Not really annoying, or worrying, but because I am TTC I am paying a little more notice to AF.

    Thanks...

Sorry, I'm not sure what could have caused it... I'll have to google what is prolactin (Dostinex) is.

It's so annoying not understanding why there are changes, especially when you put it under the microscope whilst TTC'ing.

I'm at the other end of the scale - no AF (officially 1 day late from my average cycle length) and BFN.

    Have you POAS?

Νο POAS today, but yesterday (last night) I got a BFN. I don't have any pre AF symptoms, but then again it might be the new meds (took one dose Friday night, nothing since). Don't feel at all pregnant and the plethora of negative tests confirms that, although I did think I had the feintest of positives this month which disappeared that afternoon, probably evap line since it was a dodgy internet cheapie and FRER said "no way honey".

Prolactin is associated primarily with lactation, but it also inhibits LH, estrogen and progesterone. Dostinex lowers prolactin (to make my boobie juice dry up) which hopefully should mean my LH, estrogren and progesterone go up next cycle.

Oh well, one of life's mysteries I suppose.

    thanks for reading lovely BB'ers
