Red face My baby name dilema!

Hubby and i take turns in choosing the childrens names, how ever when it was hubbys choice i agreed if i could change the spelling, this time it is my turn to pick, and i have my boys name already chosen and has been on my top list for over a year, hubby also has his boys name that is second on my list.

Since before i had my mc last year i have had my girls name picked out, but now im starting to re think it! I have 3 girls and 2 have unisex names, so when choosing a name for this baby if a girl i woud like another girly girl name.

I ran the boys names past the children, didnt tell them who choose what and everyone picked my name, also ran it past my mum and my choice was her fav, how ever she didnt like my girls name Hubby still wont agree on my boys name.

    So the boys names are...
    Hubby- Seth
    Me- Cruz

My girls name was Amber but now im thinking is that what i really want, the second name on my list is a unisex name, it is Payten, but i want to avoid the unisex thing this time.

    So my childrens names are.....
    Hubby- Grace - Girl
    Me- Hunter - Boy
    Hubby- Bailea (Bailey) - Girl
    Me- Emmerson - Girl
    Hubby- Kainne (Kane) - Boy

So now i have a new dilema, to find a girly girl name that will fit in with our other names, and as we have a LOT of family on both sides, i need a name that hasnt already be used, and then there is the hubby, now he is the biggest obsticle, he is a very tough critic!

Also i dont like to use the same letters as i have already, so G, H, B, E, K are out and probaby L and D.

So please help me, is there any name out there better than Amber?

I like Amber. I think it is a pretty, girly name. I'm not keen on Payton, it reminds me too much of the word 'patent'.
With your boys names, I prefer your DH's choice.
    Good luck!

I like Peyton, (spelt any way) it's a really pretty name and a couple of the others suggested beautiful girls names like Violet, Audrey & Milly. They are pretty names too. Good luck.

One of the names on Rowellen's list is the name we've picked if baby is a girl - it will be spelled differently though. (I want to keep it a secret as much as possible - not coz I think you're going to steal it, just coz I worry people will bag the name... But it certainly narrows it down)

I like Amber - One friend I had was Ambah.

My cousin's daughter is Allegra (prounced : A-leigh-gra)

I still have Audrey on my list... as well as Celeste

Thanks for all the sugestions, i will read them all out to hubby when he gets home from work, hubby sugested tennasee (sp) as in the american name, i dont like it and i dont think it goes with our names.

I liked Addison, but i think it clashes with Emmerson, same as Imogen. I had Claudia on my list for a past baby, i might have to mention that again to hubby.

Even though its my turn to pick he still has to like it and he just says no to everything!

Try mybaby.net.au ... They have a pretty large variety of baby names! I'm still looking for names too and our baby is due to arrive within the next 3 weeks.

For a girl I think theses names are pretty, girly girl names..

    Alliyah
    Amber
    Ciara(h)
    Faith
Jasmine (not sure where you would put a H?)
    Mariah
    Nevaeh
    Yasmine

I agree that peyton isn't very girly, something similar could be Paitence ?
But that's just my opinion so I don't want to turn you off the name or anything..

& I love the name Seth for a boy!

    Good Luck & happy hunting!

I have to say Amber is such a pretty name but if your already questioning if there is a 'better' name out there then Amber then to me it sounds like your not sold on the name so to speak (hope that's ok for me to comment on, but then maybe i'm wrong and you do truely LOVE the name Amber, well of course i hope you do )
