    Thumbs down Nose Bleeds

I've been having some nose bleeds. It doesn't worry me overmuch, but it's starting to get a bit much! I have a major nose bleed at least once a week. And I'm not talking about a bit of blood. It pours down my face and seeps through my fingers by the time I do a mad dash to the bathroom. It can last up to 10 minutes.

The other morning it woke me up at 4 in the morning and I bled all over the carpet before I managed to get to the bathroom .

What can I do? I'm paranoid about blowing my nose (esp at work) just in case it starts it up again.

If I remember correctly it's due to low blood pressure.
I had them heaps with all my pregnancies.

I got quite a few, especially between 24 and 30 weeks. Checked with m/w, who said it was just due to the increased volume of veins everywhere, and not to worry.

Annyoing, because it was staining all my hankies, but not a big deal, really.
