The universe is trying to send me a message...

    About time.

So about three weeks ago, my watch I got two years ago dropped on the tiles of the bathroom. It had dropped a few times, because Jazz likes to play with it. It's a tough watch, and wasn't cheap, so I wasn't worried. Until I realised the second hand fell out of its place and into the glass, so I thought it was stuffed, until later on I realised it was still keeping time so I wore it. The second hand just floated about under the screen but it was all good.

The hands kept getting stuck on the second hand though, which was a bit of a pain. If it was in the wrong spot it would stop the hands from moving, and I'd have to tap on the glass and move the hands a bit (with the knoby bit) to get it un-stuck. But that only took a second and it was all good, I just learnt to double check the time on another clock if it was really important.

So last week, after the time stopping a few times tht day, my watch band fell apart. Not broken, but the link fell out of the band. It's ok, luckily I was sitting at the table so I just put it all back together and continued on my day.

The next day, the time stopped. I was stumped beacuse it wasn't the second hand stopping it. It was the silver border around the date square inside my watch. Very strange, I hadn't noticed it was loose...

The last few days my watch has been playing up something shocking. Yesterday it was stuck on 4.10pm for 40 minutes, and each time I looked at my watch I remember thinking "oh, only 4.10pm, I've got loads of time to do xyz". I didn't lcick at the time but I know I had that exact thought at least 4 times

Today my watch broke again, the link fell out. SO I put it in my pocket, and 20 minutes later I was playing with one of the kids and somehow here was one of them walking around with my watch on his wrist! And he kept checking the time like he had somewhere to be.

NOW Shel's watch, which isn't even two years old, has also stopped!

AND Jazz has just found my grandfathers watch (the one who passed a few days before she was born) and has been carrying it around today.
I've also had a weird feeling. Presence? Not quite presence, but I think the feeling of not being alone. Not in a small space, like not feeling alone in a room, but generally, in the world. I had a weird feeling that my grandfather had returned. Not as a spirit but reborn maybe.

Also on the weekend my sister and I had a whole big conversation about the wall clock she gave us last year. It wasn't an important conversation, but just about how weird she thought we were that we didn't have a wall clock until she gave us one, and kept asking how we could tell the time in a blackout (I said it wasn't important, it was just a funny conversation).
Last week my laptop at work reset it's clock too, to about 3 months ago, which was weird and annoying!
We also found a watch Shel used to have that we haven't seen since we moved here. It just turned up on the desk.

I've also got the numbers 34 and 14 stuck on my head. I've tried looking up these numbers in Numerology, I-Ching, Tarot, Astrology, and just googling but I can't work it out. They aren't special numbers I don't think.

I dunno. Wanted to get it out and see if anyone could offer some insight?

Not sure what's happening with your time pieces - however I know that your life is extremely busy. Could it be a message to stop for a while and smell the roses?

As far as the numbers are concerned - Dan Millman's ideas about life purpose linked to numbers popped straight into my head ie 34/7; 14/5. Maybe check that out and see if its relevant...

I get slow down too. Like you are going to look back and wish you could have stopped time or used your time more wisely. Please look after yourself. When you are given a message often you don't realise till it's too late and hindsight comes into play. The fact that it is so strong suggests to me you really need to listen xxx

My first thought was slow down too.

Oh. I just look up Dan Millman... haven't found much about it, except how to work out the numbers. Shel is a 34/7.

This is mine. Dunno what I think about it, and the whole theory, but interesting all the same.
    44/8
    8: Abundance and Power
    4: Stability and Process
    4: Stability and Process

Those on the 44/8 life path are here to work through issues of money, control, responsibility, and stable foundations, following a systematic process to achieve material success — not for its own sake, but in support of other people or causes.

Because our life path is strewn with obstacles that test and strengthen us, before 44/8s can manifest their destiny in the positive, they have to overcome negative tendencies, such as a stubborn reluctance to follow through with a gradual, step-by-step process. When mature, 44/8s can show heroic persistence; short of that, however, they want to make success happen right now or give up (“Just forget the whole thing”). They don’t usually feel as discouraged or disheartened as 3s; instead, 44/8s often feel impatient, angry, and frustrated, especially if they haven’t yet grasped the absolute necessity of gradual progress over time, broken down into small, manageable steps, as stated in the Law of Process.
Oh, and today two links fell out of my watch, not just one. Two. Within 5 minutes of each other.
