Could this be - or am I imagining it...

I'm 35 weeks and have noticed (I think) that when music is playing baby starts to move - really move. I know that babies are suppose to be able to hear at this point but could my baby be moving to the music so to speak?

    Yes
My bub gets her groove on when I have music up loud in the car. She also starts jumping about when her daddy comes home and starts chatting to me.

pretty cool. I'm working from home today so I just found a station on my laptop that will play music while I work to keep baby entertained!

Congratulations Julie! I didn't realise you're pregnant. And not long to go now until you meet your bubba.

And bubs could definitely be moving to the music. I went to a community performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience when I was about 30 weeks. Everytime the dragoons came on with their big, deep voices, DD would start kicking up a storm.

    Certainly!

I was about 35 weeks and at a Christmas carols thing... Sam went OFF with the drums and the music and was actually kicking in time to the drums in little drummer boy.

Yep, I'm definitely breeding a muso. The ABC news theme also always gets a response.

And I went to see Inception at 20-something weeks, it was really loud, and baby was all over the shop. I ended up putting a shawl over my tummy to try and muffle the sounds.

I also notice that I can sing really calming songs to it when it's having a bounce-fest, if I'm uncomfortable, and it will settle down.

Audax - maybe you should be singing "we gotta get out of this place" to your baby!

Maybe I should. Or "Closing Time"? Or maybe "Time of Your Life"?

Holey Moley, 35 weeks! Can't wait for your news!
