Question bassinettes - Mother's Choice Coco/Mimmi or Valco Rico?? any reviews?

    Hi girls

I have been looking at bassinettes and am *almost* decided between a few. Just wondering if anyone had any comments on the following?

Valco Rico - it looks a bit boring, but has a completely enclosable cover to stop insects (and cats) from getting in. It also has mesh sides to assist with airflow, but is only 80cm long.

Mother's Choice Coco - looks nice, has a veil around it and is 85.5cm long.

Mother's Choice Mimmi - looks similar to Coco and looks same dimensions too.

I lean towards the Rico for the cover mostly and the other two for the length (and I guess the more modern look). We want the bassinette to last as long as possible so the length is advantageous, but the reason the cover is appealing is because we have a cat so that is an extra assurance. They are comparitively (and reasonably) priced so its a hard decision!

Any comments good or bad would be appreciated!

I loved the coco... It was such a gorgeous and relatively cheap bassinet... We ended up buying one off our friends tho for $50...
But if we had have spent the extra money the coco won hands down!!! I think it's stunning! Not frufru or ugly!!

Hey, I had the mothers choice coco. Loved it before DD came along and turns out she hated it. It's really deep, you can't see baby at all and the mattress is really thin with a huge piece of thin wood to support it. I sold mine to a friend.

I wouldn't buy it again, sorry. Not sure about the other ones.

I had (have) a coco bassinette for DD2 and I agree it is really beautiful, DD2 loved it but I didn't. I found not being able to see in there easily was annoying. We're not using it for this baby as we're getting a cradle that I can see into
