Whom here has one or has tried one and which would you say was better for a new born bub?

I have a close carrier (and Ergo and baba sling) Love the close carrier as
i was not comfortable at idea of tieing hug a bub!!!

CC is so easy to use and supportive I can still put 11 month old in it.

I have a HAB but I would have got a close carrier if I'd seen them before I bought it. They both hold baby in the same way and everything it's just that the CC you don't have to tie and is quicker to put on. The HAB wasn't difficult to tie but annoying when out at the shops and the long ends are dragging on the ground while you're standing there looking like a bit of a dork trying to tie it, LOL. That's what I thought anyway.

I have to agree with the PPs re the HAB and the ends dangling down!

I borrowed a HAB and then bought a close carrier. Love them both but the Close carrier so much easier to put on and take off. I can even put it on while holding bub -which definately couldnt do with the HAB.

I've looked at both and I'm leaning towards the close carrier, it looks really good!

I had both and love the CC can be tightened with bubs in it where as the HaB needs to be completely re tied! Annoying

Get the CC for sure ! And you don't have to put the extra piece on in summer

Definitely agree - get the Close Carrier - easy to put on. My DH has also used it (although only once). Easy to tighten whilst bub is on and you can put it on before leaving home so just have to pop bub in when getting wherever you're going.
