    Dog licking stitches....

....any suggestions on ways to deter it? The foster dog we have staying with us now has 7 stitches above his back leg, poor little guy, and he's obsessed with them.

He seems to have become immune to the antibacterial/deterrant spray we have tried. I have an e-collar for him that he's getting used to, but my other dog keeps chewing the rim of it so it's sharp and dangerous I'm keeping them apart as much as I can but can't leave the foster inside when I go out.

Just hoping someone might have another suggestion that's worked for them? Or do I just have to ride it out.....

You know those stretchy all in one bandage things? They are tan. One of those over it so it still breaths. You can get them from the chemist. Best get it sooner rather than later because he'll end up licking the stitches open and it could get rather messy.
