I'm looking for suggestions for a mcn for a tall skinny baby for a friend. My mcn of choice is the bbh multifit but my boys are chunky monkeys so I don't think the fit will be great for her skinny girl. She would prefer a osfa so I was thinking the itti bitti tutto but im not sure what else to try. What are some good nappies for skinny bubba's? Also would a osfa fit well on a skinny bub or is she better off getting a sized nappy?
How old is bub? A OSFM isn't really ideal if she is a newborn - as I discovered the hard way!
Mind you I have a tutto and it folds down teeny, with tiny leg holes so it might be worth a shot. Plus the poo fence XD
I know someone who has one for her five week old and she says it fits.
They're less bulky than other OSFM too. My DS is narrow and his fits great, soaks up alot of wee. I'm quite smitten with it
I have recently fallen in live with abbygros too. So nice and soft yet they are a good strong quality. They are also a OSFM.
DD can vary from super scrawny to chunky depending on whether she's about to growth spurt or not. I find Abby Gro nappies seem to fit no matter what build she is. DD is also a champion wetter and these have never leaked on me. They're also made by a WAHM so she can't afford to make crap.
I have long skinny kids and TBH I still find OSFM too chunky on Nate. Sized are much better, however the exceptions are the ones with snaps down the front, so itti tuttos, pop-ins, minilalas etc.
I love side snapping nappies as the can be adjusted for legs and belly.
Just got a Bubblebubs Candies nappy though, which is seriously good nappy. Holds more wee than a WW, but it probably would be a bit chunky for a 5kg bub.
Bubbamoo nappies are pretty trim and they fit my little guy well too.
