Boori sleigh or Boori sleigh royalle??

Cannot make up my bloody mind. Found a new baby shop and walked in and seen the new Royalle. Omg fell in love and only $100 difference including the drawer.

No difference really in size or anything.. Will be reselling nursery set in 18 months and worried that the sleigh will not give me as much return for my money...

    Any thoughts?

We LOVE the Royale! OMG they are gorgeous - If there is only a $100 difference I'd be going there!

Here in Syd there is still a $4-$500 difference! What is the franchise name? I want one!

Knowing what I know now i would never buy boori again. All you have to do is look at it and a ding appears. For the amount you pay you'd think they're source out a harder timber.

Yep. I wrote them a letter (in one of my tired "I need to let rip at someone" hazes that us mothers tend to get) and they never got back to me.
Things like opening the draws, there are all indents around the handles from fingernails. To me that shouldn't happen, and I'm not using cotton gloves or amputating my nails out to use my furniture!

OMG! :O How rude - Well thats put me off Boori! I have long hard nails that would def scratch/dent the timber then!

How disappointing, but at least I know now (sorry for hijacking tams)

We have the Boori sleigh and LOVE it. Only dents ours has is from DS1 chewing on edge of cot but all my friends with all different brands have same issue.

Well, my mate just got rid of the regular Boori sleigh and loves it. She just recently sold hers and had no dents in it. Trust me she was not wearing gloves when touching it. If anything I would say the wear and tear is awesome. That is however after 2 bubs in her case. I love that it is such a heavy solid piece which is what sold me on Boori to begin with. Everyone is different though as some people I know cannot get over the price I paid! I just think of the return and that settles it for me. : )

Btw with my regular sleigh, I got the drawer.... but had to pay separate. With the Royalle, it comes with the drawer so after that it comes down to a difference of $100. Hmmm. seriously considering....

Thanks Miss M. I really think I will go in and tell them my mind is changed. : ) Skybie: My dd never chewed the crib at all but as I am selling this one after 18 months I was told to go to bunnings and get the piece of plastic and cut it so it slips on the crib. Will get dh to do that. Omg already dents??? Not good. : ( If you have not used it why don't you take it back? Btw mine is walnut too! Love it.

because bub sdue in 6ish weeks and thats how loong it takes to order them in! if not longer with the chrissy break. theyve been caused by me and the other kids, i dont reccomend wearing a metal clasp belt around the cot! expecially if its one of the darker colours

Ah okay. No it is not metal it is just clear plastic and it snaps on if done correctly. Dh knows how to do, I don't know all the details. I just know it is a clear plastic tube that gets cut and then it snaps onto the rail. : )

Ours standard sleigh also came with drawer.

I did buy some things to wrap arund edge to stop DS1 biting instead he pulled them off, the hard plastic ones I found were not wide enough to fit in edge.

Yep the standard used to come with a drawer.. I missed out as they have changed that now. : (

This one is at bunnings and you just get the same mm as the rail and there is no issue with it. I am definitely getting dh to complete this task though... He is a bunnings expert. Ha.

Not to try to change your mind Tams But often people buy expensive cots only to find that when bub arrives they prefer to co-sleep. Our 3rd child was like this... hardly ever used our beautiful cot (second hand that I'm keeping in the family for my grandchildren LOL).

If you are keen on a Boori I strongly recommend buying second hand
