    Massive pain when I sneeze?

Heeeelllppp! I've been sneezing all morning, and my tummy is really really sore With the very first sneeze just after I woke up, it felt like I'd ripped a muscle or something in my lower belly (the pain went away within a couple of seconds) and now that's just repeating with every sneeze.

I'm fairly sure I'm not hurting bub, but I can't help have just that touch of doubt. I'm sitting in what's the most comfy position for me, but when I sneeze, I'm scared I'm hurting him/her by doubling over so quickly. The u/s I had on Friday revealed s/he's head-down now () with legs stretched out up into the top part of my belly - so when I'm doubling over, the bend is around where the bum would be sitting.

I don't seem to be blessed with a nice, normal round bump - if I bend over, my skin still folds in the middle around my belly button. Ahh, don't get me started on that, my paranoid brain worries there's something wrong with me there too...

Can someone just ease my mind about this horrible pain in my belly? I'm not going to send myself into early labour or rip anything in there, am I?

ETA - Wouldn't you know it, I haven't sneezed since I posted this But still looking for answers, since I'm a worrywart and I know I'll sneeze later

It doesn't sound at all baby related, and if the back isn't against your belly button (like its to the left or right) its normal that its not so stretched out it couldn't fold. With regards to the pain, call your midwife if you're worried, but it sounds like you have just pulled a muscle, especially if you are completely pain free between sneezles.
YOu body is designed to carry your bub so you doubling over is completely safe too.
I hope that helps, but truly if you need piece of mind call someone, they won't mind at all!

I have had this pain with every pregnancy. I am sure your bub will be fine. There is so much insulation around bub that it does take a lot for them to be hurt.

I hope your attack of the sneezes disappear real soon

    Hi tenibear,

I too got this pain at random times all through my pregnancy without DD. Sorry I can't explain what it actually is, but it sort of felt like a really bad cramp too me and I thought it might have something to do with everything stretching and moving in there.

Bubs is well protected in there Hun. Hope you get over the sneezes soon.

I sometimes grabbed a pillow and doubled over on that to sneeze.

I used to get that too so I did what Lulu did. Also brace my pelvic floor seemed to prevent it a bit. Poor tummy muscles
