Help! Possible breech bub at 36 1/2 wks and trace protiens in urine...?
Ok so I just had my weekly antenatal appt with my GP and he's told me that I have trace protein in my urine which I also had last week and also that bub is possibly breech or at least transverse. Bub must have only recently turned into this position because all movement I was feeling yesterday and even this morning I think (though I hadn't taken alot of notice) was indicating he was still head down, which is where he has been for at least 4ish weeks. Though taking notice of movements since I went to the docs, I can tell he's moved, though I would have assumed he was posterior or towards my right side, rather than my left. So what I would like to know is...
What are the implications of the trace protien in my urine? I knwo one is pre eclampsia, and I am aware of some of the symptoms (pitting odeoma, headaches, dizzyness) I do have swelling in my hands and feet, though nothing unusual for me, I have had it in each pg previously and nothing came of it and it gets worse in hot weather and it has and will be really hot here for the next fwe days/weeks. Is there other things I should look for?
And what can I do about baby being breech? I am almost 37wks pg, so I am a bit worried he won't turn back if he is breech.
Another of my issues is that I am in a remote community with no maternity section in our little hospy. The GP told me there are two midwives here which is great considering nothing goes worng with me or bub, but if I need to go to a bigger hospy, I would be airlifted to Dubbo (3hr drive away), or even Sydney depending on the issues.
I think I am just worrying over nothing, but I am starting to get anxious about birth. We will be going to Sydney in a week (next Sunday) for me to give birth there (my family is there and i had my other children at the same hospy I will birth in, all going to plan!). But with bubs so close to coming and me starting to have a little pre labour, I am getting antsy!!
