What the? Is this normal? To leak a bit of *whatever* it was when pregnant? I'm 16w2d. Possibly TMI ahead. At the time of the leak we were in an, erm, compromising postition lol. Anyways, DF was snuggled up against my right breast, kissing it etc, when he felt a drop on his chest. We looked and my left nipple was wet, it had a clearish something on it. We tried to kind of squeeze my boob (lol DF was like, I dont know how to milk boobs yet and i was like, neither do i haha) but nothing more happened, so we got back to it and that was that.
Is that normal? And even possible at this point? Like I said, it was only a small drop onto DF and a bit on my nipple, we couldn't get any more. Was it colostrum? And has this happened to anyone else? Very confused atm!![]()

Yep, completely normal!
Wait until you sleep in a funny position and wake up in a small puddle of it!

Oh just to add to begin with you'll only get a drop here and there so won't be able to "milk" it

Yep. great isn't itMy boobies started leaking about 16wks. I used to be able to hand express with one but not the other, but that was the one that would leak at night.
Just wait until you wake in the morning with a yellow wet spot over your boobs. That's freaky! I've read that you can use colostrum on pimples to clear them up. I used to just squeeze the nipple, not the whole boob.
I loved watching the changes. I knew my body was getting ready to feed our baby.
Ahh okay! I've read that it happens in the third tri, so I was like eek, too early! Good to know there's a reason I can't 'milk' yet hehe. Also I don't wear a bra at home bit because my boobs are rather big I wear a nice snug crop top...at the time I was braless. Ooh how exciting, I'm leakingBut yes, good to know it's okay this early
Tash I agree, I'm amazed at my body too!
Bah, ignore whoever said it starts in third tri, I've been leaking since about 12 weeks this time! I think it started around 16w last time
Yaay for our amazing bodies, even if they do make us kinda sticky when we leak too much

Yep I was a big leaker both times. It got me in the habit of wearing a bra (singlet type) as without one ie. in pj's I would leak everywhere!
DF says he thinks it's hot
![]()
they usualy do!
tell him to wait, one day you will "squirt" him from the other side the couch! they never seem to stop seeing them as some sort of toy...![]()
Yep, I leaked from 14 ish weeks and had to sleep on a towel from about 20 weeks on or I'd wake up in a MASSIVE wet puddle.
I think maybe I played with it a bit too much- expressing- and increased the colostrum supply (if that's possible? Lol). It's interesting and kinda fun to begin with but the constant leaking gets annoying very quickly!
Mine have been like taps since about 16ish weeks too. Its bad especially having a latex allergy and most breast pads having a latex dirivative in them. I have some good ones now.
My DF thinks its cool too. Must be a male thing.
Will do when she comes back online after holidays.
Yep I agree with going cloth I use cloth pads as now at 17 weeks my boobs are like taps that won't turn off!! Not suprising the leaking started at 9 weeks

I started leaking with DS around 14-15wks lol
And with this one at 15wks.
Just wait until you're sitting at the computer without a bra on and you look down and see 2 perfectly wet circles on the front of your singlet like I did a month or so ago lol
The main difference for me this time is that I've actually been able to express colostrum since 20wks this time... I think I may be producing enough already to feed a little preemie there's of much of it! Completely different to DS where it took until 3 days after he was born for me to be able to express any lol
