It's possible women experience IBS during pregnanxy. That'd be the "I need to go now!" bit. I know a few women on here did so maybe they might pop in and elaborate
I think being pregnant just messes with your digestion in general. I got diarrhoea with DS and this time around too in the early part of pregnancy. Fun, huh!?
Yep, me too, I know exactly what you are talking about. I never experienced this at all with my last pg but this time has been awful. I'm nearly 14 weeks now & it's still continuing. I had an extra scan a few weeks ago because the cramps were so severe, all ok though :-)
yep, i've had all three times now! the cramps can be mega painful and wind is a big problem too. I usually start to go the other way around 20 weeks tho, so that's fun - NOT!!!
I have had this for this pregnancy and with DD2 as well, not fun, it did ease of when I realised that full cream milk was causing the cramps - never had had a issue before.
Ooooh yes. I had this in all three of my pg's. My bowels do not enjoy pregnancy! Someone told me early on the bowel is irritated by the hormone relaxin. Don't know how true that is.
Ah, yes... then you can enjoy constipation and haemorroids (sp?) later on!
Yep!! Me too. I had this up untill about 9 weeks, I started taking Mylanta to help with Heartburn & my dihorea stopped too. Maybe its related with you too? Combined with wind pains? Thats pretty common it seems. Oh the joys
