Double pram in a Mazda CX-7 - Baby Jogger or Mountain Buggy

    Hello,

We are in the process of buying a new car and have narrowed our selection down to a Mazda CX-7. However with a new bub on the way we will need to fit a double pram into the boot.

I'm likely to be buying a Bugaboo Donkey but given they aren't even available yet I've got no chance of testing that will fit! However the dimensions when folded are similar to a Mountain Buggy or Baby Jogger.

I was going to ask someone with twins from my Mothers Group to borrow one of her double prams to test, but she is away for a month.

SO can anyone with either of these prams and this car let me know if they fit into the boot?

    Cheers,
    Fiona

We have a Mazda CX7 (and love it!) and our Baby Jogger City Elite (std 3 wheeler) fits no worries. Its not a double pram though but if that's the one you're referring to then yup, no probs

Not the brands you're looking at, but:

My Mother's Choice double pram folds up SO small and flat! Smaller than my Mother's Choice all terrain three wheeler! Very light too (again, lighter than the single of the same brand).

Have you considered an Valco Ion Double? I just got a single one, 2nd hand, but can't say enough good things about it. The single only weighs 6kg so I assume the double would be nice and light too.
