    Which bottle.

DS has decided that he doesn't like to take a bottle and I have a few things coming up that I would really like him to take a bottle for. I have tried alot of the tips in past threads about this topic but we haven't had too much success unfortunately. For those people whose babies had a bottle aversion what bottle did they eventually like? We are using the avent bottles but not having much luck with it. I'm not keen on spending alot of money trialling bottles but it doesn't look like I will have much choice.

we also use tommee tippee - but the closer to nature ones. The teet is wide more boob like and those bottles are lovely and light.

I've found the closer to nature ones really good. Very similar like a breast.

I have some unused Tomme Tippee closer to nature bottles (out of the pack) I can send you if you would like to try. I am about to get rid of all my bottles, I have Dr Browns also (excellent).
    PM if you are interested.

Skybie: did she take the happy baby one happily straight away or did you still have to work at it to get her to take it? This bottle business is frustrating!

For breastfed babies I would suggest the Pigeon Peristaltic Nipple.
It is the one that a couple of dieticians have recommended to me when we want to try

Thanks for the advice everyone. Bought DS a closer to nature bottle and so far so good. Took 80ml of ebm which is really good for him. Seems he has expensive tastes in bottles. Hopefully he continues to like drinking from it.

I second that! My lactation consultant recommended these one's to me when DD was only 3wks of age and we were having to use bottles at the time for supp feeds..... they are fantastic. (Just wish they were BPA free??)

My LC told me those tommee tipee one's (closer to nature) are not as good as they 'market' themselves to be?!? but I guess everyone has an opinion on everything right?
