    Exercise after miscarriage

    Hi there ladies

I was wondering if anyone knew when was the right time to begin exercise again after a miscarriage?

When could I start gentle walking again? and then...
When could I start going back to Curves/Zumba again?

I really want to get into better shape for our next TTC adventure.

    Thanks

I went back to curves after my ectopic and surgery after about 2 weeks, i needed to mentally and curves is a great gym where you can do what you can and build up from there. Do what you can and listen to your body, exercise will help you for TTC....good luck and i am sorry for your loss

I walked 6km the day after my d&c (called in to the hospy on the way to check) and then 3 days after it did a 50km bike ride. Midwife at EPAU was OK with it as long as I was getting plenty of fluids and iron.

So, yeah, whenever you feel up to it. It's a great idea, though, I really think it helps you to heal, physically and emotionally. It's such a hard time... BIG hugs.

Hmm well it happened last Friday (21st). I had my 12 wk scan, where I found out the baby had died so I opted for misoprostol treatment. That brought the bleeding on but I had to have a second round on Monday (big mistake!!) but then yesterday when they checked it was mostly gone so I didn't need a D&C.

So if I just walked this week, then went back to Zumba and Curves next week, do you think that sounds alright? It's nearly stopped now, very light.
