I had the test within the week before the NT scan. The dr and the pathologist both said within 7 days was ok. If you have it done on the monday then you should be fine. Good luck with it

I have no idea what she is talking about sorry really no help. I had my bloods done at 10 weeks and then ultrasound at 11 1/2 weeks. That is what I was told to do. This is what the booklet I got on NT scans also told me to do.

Don't think I would count Weds.... Ring and check.

Blood test is ok anywhere from 9-12 weeks. But optimal time is 10 weeks , I'm not exactly sure why but I'll find out! I had bloods at 10 weeks scan at 12, but there was a possibility I was going up have to have bloods done at 12 weeks too and that was ok with the drs. So any day the week before will be fine.

The three to four days is only a minimum and only there because they like to have the bloods processed and the records sent to the central database in each state that handles the screenng test. that way when you have the scan done the results are sent through to them and they then combine those results with the blodd results and crunch the numbers so that you get your combined results or risk factors back in a couple of hours.....at least you do with private scans, with public ones I think you might have to wait till you see your care provider for them to discuss the results with you?
