    Talking Easiest pancake recipe ever

I found this on the net the other day and thought I would share - it's so easy I think it's even faster than using a 'Shake & Bake' pancake mix

    1 cup SR flour
    1 cup milk
    1 egg

Mix together. Cook!! Ha ha. That's it

It made 6 medium size pancakes when I made it and they were lovely and light and fluffy.

I use the same one - they are always super fluffy!!! I always struggled with getting the shake and bake mix in the corners of the bottle..... so definitely better!

    The one i use is:

    1 cup SR flour
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 egg
    1 cup milk
    1 tablespoon vanilla essence

They make the yummiest pancakes!!! and if i wasnt out of SR flour id make some now

Oooh yeah I forgot I added a sprinkle of sugar to mine ha ha. Still pretty easy though.

LMS yours sounds yummy too - vanilla essence is a good idea.

I dont even use eggs. Not sure why they're even in there, it's exactly the same without them...

    ETA - My recipe is:

    SR or plain flour
    Milk
    few drops vanilla
    Sugar

mix in however much you think until you have a pancake batter like consistancy (I don't measure it so cant give you measurements lol). cook.

I add mashed banana and honey to Ds's so it's a bit healthier. and yummy too.

ETA2 Banana has to be well mashed or it sticks to the pan.

The only problem i had is i didn't make enough- didn't realise how yummy it would be- next time I'm doubling the mixture!

Well my 2 boys usually only eat one each- but this time they had 2- which only left a few for DH and I- everyone loved them. Much better then the shake-it ones we use to get (the last few pancakes i've made were some chocolate ones- but they were always flat).

Oh and great idea for the chocolate chips- i had chocolate chips in the fridge i could've used. Maybe next time with chocolate chips and a mashed banana too.
