I would have liked a romantic dinner with no kids

wow, hard to even think of something to say.
i prolly would have liked NOT to have had to go to Contact Mediation with my ex, on V Day, to work out how we're going to co-parent our child, as separated people. Definately not a romantic way to spend V Day.
Prolly what i would have liked - would be for bilby to let me cuddle her, when i wanted to cuddle her goodnight. She is not into cuddles, i find it hard NOT to take that personally.
DH is away at work (works away up north) and he is on night shift, so I got a 2 second phone call this morning to say a quick happy valentines day and then he went to bed
I would have liked flowers considering I worked all day and work next door to a florist. A girl at my work got a $2k pair of diamond earings and a massive bunch of flowers.
Mind you, we leave to go backpacking in 32 days so im kind of glad he didnt spend money on flowers but even just a card or something hidden away with a nice message and he could have told me where it was to open today. This has actually been eating me up all day so im glad im not the only one. 3 weeks today until our 2nd wedding anniversary and im expecting much the same to be honest...
wuld have been nice if the car didnt break down and DH didnt get stuck in town, with no way of getting home ALL day.
But i had a lovely day with DD on my own. that was nice. And it reminded me how amazing and smart she is. And i had lots of cuddles off DH. i cant even complain about having to cook dinner tonight cause DH ALWAYS cooks dinner and was to tired after his crappy day!
Maybe it would have been nice to have a pedicure considering i cant reach my feet and my nails are starting to look disgusting!
I would have liked anything!!!!
A card, some flowers, a massage... Anything to make me feel even a little bit spoilt!!
I made him "I love you" cupcakes, I made him a lamb roast dinner (I'm a vego so thats pretty special!!) and I sent him a lovely txt msg.
I didnt even get a happy valentines day from him.
And we were going to DTD for the first time since DD was born, but she wouldn't settle so he went to bed at 10pm so I didn't even get sex!!!!
And he has no idea I am even upset...
I got a happy valentines day and that's it. Tho i had a picnic lunch with my mum & sister. I woulda liked some flowers, maybe a pressie, for Mr c not to be teething hence grizzly... gawd I could make the massivest list!
But what I would have liked is some quiet alone time with my DH... We had two kids awake, off and on, until 10.30pm, at which point we fell into bed. Sigh.
