Workmen gooing & gaaing over our pups

This morning we took the pups to the Vet for their immunisations and there were roadworks going on so parked in a side street. DH was carrying the pups in a box and DD3 and myself following behind. The workmen were on their break and as we walked past one of them asked what's in the box and wanted to look. About 10 of them came over, covered in dirt, stubby shorts on, what a sight. Anyway we cross the road, one of them even stopped the traffic for us, we're in the vet pups getting their needles and receptionist hands me a bit of paper and says you need to ring this number. One of the workmen wanted to buy a pup. He's coming tonight and even gave us a deposit.
