    5 weeks and heavy bleeding

Hello all of you, I have posted on some other threads, trying to get some answers. My story:
    BFP two weeks ago !
Slight pink mucous (sorry) at the weekend.
Dating scan on Tuesday- all fine just younger than I expected, 4 weeks 5 days, sac and yolk but no heartbeat yet, thought I was7 weeks, but was just fat and constipated.
Tuesday eve - started light bleeding - always a worry as I have lost two this way. Bleeding stopped and started for a couple of days very light - managed to be signed off work so on bed rest.
Got another scan today - two days later- the bleeding was nearly brown and very light. Gestational sac and yoke safe but showing a small bleed by the sac.
However, by 5pm the bleeding is now very strong and I have passed some smallish clots, not as big as some peoples on here. It does not hurt like a mc, or like AF, just a dull ache near the bleed.
Has anyone had this and managed to keep their babies?
I don't know where else to turn, please help, this would be my 7th baby if they had all lived, now I just can't do it anymore.

mummylion, I am so sorry you are going through this atm. I haven't been lucky enough to keep my babies after experiencing bleeding but I know of others on this forum who have & also my cousin had the exact same thing on & off throughout her pg & she has a healthy little boy. It is possible but only another scan & HCG will determine what exactly is going on. Hugs

i experienced bleeding with my last pregnancy at almost 13 weeks, i did however manage too keep that baby who is now just over 8 weeks old

i woke up to bright red bleeding, however it was not painful

If your not experiencing any major pain right now then try and stay positive

Goodluck and hope it turns out all ok for you

P.S- i have however had a bleed and lost a bub at 11 weeks, so it can either go 2 ways just hoping all is ok for you

Thanks all of you, it's so hard because there are no hard and fast rules. I was in ER today for hours because the docs were worried about the bleed and was eventually told that it must be a loss, without a scan, and to go home. The only way to know is another scan I think.... I have told my close family and friends that bubs has probably joined its Angels, if it is still there then it will be a massive celebration.
So many people to keep their bubs with this condition, maybe it will bleed out and resolve itself.
My Pt today at the hospital was a BFP, now why would that be if bubs had gone?

    Will let you know..

Oh hon - so sorry this is happening. Your HPT would still be positive as you've got HCG in your system. A scan would be the best way to find out straight away how things are going.

I'd be ringing your GP and demanding another scan, you can still get BFP on a preg test because of the hormones in your system.

I had 2 bleeds with my pregnancy with DD but other times bleeding has meant the end of the pregnancy.

    Best of luck hun

Hello, everyone, had scan today and sadly its all gone.

Not sure if we should try again, think I could be natures way of saying stop now and concentrate on the bonkers boys you have, I am so lucky to have them!

I will go and see if there is anything we can do, I think three definite Mc and one possible in a row is a bit much, but I am not a spring chicken anymore.

Thank you so much for you care and support

So sorry hun, take all the time you need to grieve.

IF the time comes and you want to try again don't let 3 in a row stop you. IF you do want to go again usually 3 consecutive losses means the Dr can start looking at doing some testing.
