PRAM REVIEW THREAD- What Pram do you have & what do you LOVE Hate about it!!

Im a self confessed addict when it comes to prams, ive just brought my 20th pram in 22 months!
So tell me what you have & what you love about it, kind of like a review!
I've had too many to mention so ill do a couple at a time!

    Babylove Triactive jogger with bassinette
LOVE: It was easy to push and the bassinette was roomy and soft!
HATE: It was like a truck so bulky, so wide & putting the bassinette on & off everytime took at least 10mins so not a good pram for a quick trip

    Other comments!
Its not very attractive looking either, I only really brought it because it was on special & I wanted something with a Bassinette

    Coassatto Mobi Pram
LOVE: It looks awesome, really new ages, folded nicely!
HATE: The hood was really flimsy & the seat wasnt suitable for a child under the age of at least 6 months, kind of like the bugaboo!

    Other comments!
It came with heaps of extras like a nappy bag, parasol, raincover & the bassinette

    Phil & teds sport V1
LOVE: Its so compact for a 3 wheeler pram, not at all wide, looks great, love that it can be either a double or single
HATE: The material was very fragile, easily pulls

    Other comments:
I actually didnt mind this pram at all, but DS wouldnt sleep in it coz when Its layed down they can see you!

    wow 20 prams!!

ok well i have the Icandy Apple.
I love it!! its so smooth to push and get around, it has many accessories and even though it is abit pricey i find it totally worth it.
You can change the insert and the hood and play with a range of colours, its awesome.
The seat can be rear or forward facing, what ever you decide.
Is not heavy weighs maybe 10 kilo's in total.
only down fall, i hate having to pull it apart to get it in the car.
like many prams, the seat is detachable so you have to take it off to fold down.
And it gets alot of LOOKS!! Icandy prams are rare compared to the bugaboo etc. You never really see them at all

I would recommend this pram to anyone!!

Oooh, I might as well add my bit! lol

I have the Baby Jogger Elite...

Like- It's excellent with the suspension (can hardly feel any bumps in the road), fantastic large hood with 2 clear panels so you can see what bub is doing, lots of meshy fabric bits on it so on a hot day it's great to have that lovely breeze through it, very easy to fold and store, good storage, slides effortlessly on the wheels and it feels like a feather to push around.

Don't like- it's not fantastic/recommended to put a brand new bub in it unless you have the basinette, the actual back of the pram where the bub lies is too soft IMHO, I feel like my DS's back is curved when he's in it, a bit too wide in the back (it's a 3 wheeler) and a tad too heavy when lifting (12 kg I think..)

LOVE: Its kind of old school but in the new world, it looks classic, it pushes like a dream its comfy, its made to last its great quality!
HATE: Its a 2 peice fold

Other comments: Loved it but it took up too much boot space!

    Silvercross Dazzle x2
LOVE: Everything seriously this stroller is awesome which is why ive had 2, 2 different colours blue & fern & am about to get my 3rd in grape, its light but huge as in really tall so would last the distance, comes with a raincover, you can get a carrycot for a new born!
    HATE: Nothing!

    other comments
This pram is fantastic, folds like an umrealla stroller with all the benifets of a pram!

    Valco trimode jogger
LOVE: The hood coverage, the ease of pushing, the handle bar goes up & down, great for off road, for a small pram its fold is quite good!
    HATE: nothing really

    other comments!

    LOVE: The look
HATE: Everything, its small its flimsy, cant handle off road, expensive accessories!

    Phil & Teds Vibe

HATE: Its seat slumps the child doest sit up properly, its hand break is annoying its in a spot where its always accidently pushed, its fold is a pain!

Steelcraft Acclaim...I really wanted a 4 wheel pram and there isnt a lot of variety these days.

LOVE: Almost every aspect, light, nice colour and easy to use.
HATE: Occasionally it has a mind of its own and steers all wonky or maybe DD is a bit beefy these days

    Baby Jogger City Elite

We have a Baby Jogger City Elite 2010 model:

Pro's: very easy to fold, LOVE the extra long hood thingy for shade, most of my mummy friends have envied that. Love the magnets that the flippy bits have (sunroof and side air vents). Love the TWO clear sunroof bits. ADORE the colour range (I got mine from the US). Love all the extra bits you can have.

We have not used it for a new born so cannot (at this stage) comment from experience but it doesn't seem too soft for a new born providing the safety straps underneath are done up, again said with no newborn experience.

I don't find it heavy to lift, but my other pram is heavier so

I LOVE our accessories, we have the toddler seat and canopy and cannot wait to use them.

I LOVE its all terrain suspension which is the ONLY reason I choose this over another brand.

CONS: Exxy but on par with other good brands (cheaper if ordered from the USA got mine and quite a few accessories for under $1000 including shipping).

We ordered from USA so we have NO warranty valid here in Austalia.

It seems a little wider in its bum and doesn't fit through some supermarket checkouts and some clothing aisles.

I have a valco ultralight trimode

    Love
It's purple! Never seen another purple one
    Very light
Quick to fold and get in the car
    Easy to use booster seat

    Cons
Too wide for some shops the supermarkets are widening their aisles though
Changing the heights on straps is a pain

I love prams too. Wish my baby did, but she doesn't, so I have 5 slings/carriers too.

    Bertini Bidwell
    LOVE
    All terrain. Dream to push.
    Four wheels, sterring or fixed
Massive, great for the weekend market shop

    HATE
    Massive, won't fit in car

    Peg Perego Pliko Pramette
    LOVE
Easy conversion from stroller to bassinet
    One handed folding mechanism
    Sturdy but still quite compact

    HATE
Bassinet position needs a bit of added supprt under baby.

ok, i have had a few prams...

    Quicksmart Stroller:
LOVE: not much it was small...
HATE: flimsy, steering (or lack thereof) and the system to collapse it was a PITA

    Chicco V2.0
LOVE: lightweight, good steering, good for newborn up, good storage, extendable leg rest for sleeping
HATE: not much to hate! except that it is a stroller and not as good as my bugaboo lol!

    Phil and Teds Dash (2010)
LOVE: carries two children awesomely. both kids can sleep in it. the cocoon is great for the newborns to transfer from pram etc and to carry around it
HATE: not a fan of the 3 wheels. trys to tip on downhill corners. HEAVY! long and a bit too wide for my liking. also, i hate that all the rain covers, sun covers, cocoons etc are optional (and expensive) extras. oh and the kids can only face outwards. i will be selling this pram...

    Bugaboo Gecko
LOVE: EVERYTHING!!! lightweight, handles really well everywhere (we have been through snow, sand, farms you name it lol). because it is smaller than the majority of luxury prams it is really nifty to get around and on and off trams etc. kids sleep awesomely in both the bassinette and seat mode. face you or outward. all the fabric is easy to clean and even after almost 4 years of daily use looks good as new! a real workhorse without the workhorse looks!
HATE: getting hard to find accessories since it is no longer being made. but we are able to replace tyres etc with other bugaboo models!

ive had a few prams aswell, but cant remember them all...
my current 2 are (and best ive had yet!) sorry, 3

    Quicksmart stroller x2
Love: that it is small, perfect hight, can fold it up and put it at my feet in the car, fits on all transport and down all shopping isles
Hate: if i have something on the handle (grocerie bag) and let go to grab ds it tips up, so its not great for shopping trips! also hate it is a one child pram!

    Valco rebel
Love: the handle is height adjustable, the main part can be changed arround so bub is facing you. the todler seat and skateboard/hitchhiker can be used at the same time.
Hate: it dosent fit in df's car with the gas tank and subwoffers! the tyres are pump up ones, so prone to flats with the amount of walking i do.

i realy REALY want the City select but still saving for the hate part, the price!!!

We've got a Mountain Buggy Urban Pram in BRIGHT RED!
    LOVE:
We live in the country- dirt roads, the MBuggy does a terrific job!
It's easy to change from sitting to sleeping positions
You can buy a bassinette for it, we got one cheap from ebay and it fit like a charm. Perfect for the first 6 weeks.
SO easy to fold- one step if you have a wide car, 2, if it's a small car.
It's really big and comfortable looking

    HATE:
It's so big!!! Not good for shopping and manoeuvring around people
It's so big!!! We had to factor it into our car buying!
It's a bit heavy (or maybe I'm just a weakling)

Once J-Boy is sitting up by himself I'll be getting a cheapo light pram as well, this one is just too big for shopping etc. It's just that it's SO good around home!!!

I have a Strider Plus in black (4 wheeler)

    LOVE:
It's really easy to steer, even one handed is fine!
    HUGE basket underneath
Comes with most accessories like rain cover, foot muff etc...
    Nice comfy seat for DD
Second seat attachment (which we have too)
Really stable, doesn't tip at all!
Goes alright off road considering the tyres are hard
The canopy has an extra mesh bit that you can unzip and the canopy will go all the way over the seat so they are completely covered with a mesh panel so you can see in and breeze can get through
seat reverses and reclines all the way back so we didn't need the bassinet attachment

    HATE:
Not so much a hate but it is quite heavy to lift into the boot
It's big! Fits through most isles but can be annoying to shop with
Takes a lot of boot space (luckily we have a massive boot)

I am really happy with my pram! Even though it is quite wide, it is an awesome stable pram and by far the best for it's price range!!!!
