Loosing the 'freedom' of being a SAHM when going back to uni.....

My O-week stars next week!! I am a bit nervous about the whole thing but excited at the same time. I have been out of study for over 9 years and haven't worked for just over 5 years, so hopefully I can just take everything in my stride.
I have finally organised my timetable to a workable one around the kids which I am happy about but am already going to miss out on DD1's first school sports day (although I may be able to see maybe an hour and a half if I am lucky).
Kind of makes me sad that I won't have the same 'freedom' of doing whatever, whenever that I have as a SAHM.

Any new students feel the same?

    Hey hannah,

That is awesome, I'm sure you will enjoy it but can totally understand how you feel u will miss your bubba's. I am thinking of enrolling at uni next year but I am indecisive because as you can see by my ticker....my baby will only be so little next February and I am already feeling sad at the thought of missing my little ones anything really But on the other hand you are an amazing woman being a mum and student so I'm sure it will be a great decision whatever happens.
