oh darling, I have no experience with this.. but I just wanted to offer you hugs![]()
I am so sorry that your angel couldn't stay!
xx
I really don't want another D&C for many reasons, I just find them so cold and invasive, I have no one to take me then pick me up.
So what can I expect from a natural m/c if the fetus died at around 11wks?
What are my options with what comes out?
Sorry to sound so morbid but at this point I just need practical info/help.

hunni, when I miscarried at 13wks I needed a D&C due to retained placenta, sometimes it's just unavoidable. So sorry you are going through this, I'm here for you if you need to talk xxxx.

I'm so sorry darl
At 9 weeks I passed a few golf ball sized clots along with lots of smaller ones. I bled heavily for at least a week, then it slowly tapered off over another week. I ended up with an infection about a week after it all stopped too. My baby had passed some time before this though.
I hope all goes as well as can be expected![]()
I Pm,d you honey...
I found out at 9 weeks that my baby had passed at 6 weeks and i opted for a D&C....i have heard both sides...for me personally i didnt want to wait any longer. I have heard good stories about passing naturally as well as some very painful ones and alot of bleeding over weeks. I think it just depends on the circumstances. I think it can sometimes take a while for everything to come out. I think the bigger and older the baby is i think the more you will experience and maybe bigger clots etc.
Can no one take some time of work like a partner or family member or friend if you decide to go for the D&C..?
I am thinking of you and i hope you can find you're answer. Im sorry for you're loss
Nope no one to take me at all, we live on the central coast, closet family is my mum in Sydney but 1, she doesn't know 2, I dont like asking her for anything and 3, I don't want the "its for the best" speech. I really don't want to ask AH either (a..hole).
I've done a couple of 9wk m/c at home so I'll wait and see what happens over the next 24-48 hrs.
Thanks again.
I'm so sorry
I have no experience. Monitor yourself and go to the hospital if needs be.
Again I'm really so very sorry that this has happened.![]()
I MC at 9wks in a hospital, due to heavey bleeding after I still had a D&C. I am so sorry to hear that you have lost this pregnancy. Look after yourself and make sure you call for help if you need it.
Oh huni Im so sorry!! I have no answers to your questions....just wanted to offer you loads of
Im always here if you want to chat....wish I lived closer!!
I am so sorry to hear about your precious bub i can only give you advice on what my girlfriend went through she lost her bub at 13 weeks the bub had died at 10 weeks she passed a very transparent tiny body that was no where near fully formed no bigger than her thumb with a tiny placenta attatched which looked like a small round piece of liver with some veins she had terrible cramps and bleeding until she passed the baby and ended up with an infection as not all the contents had come away a consequence of which hindered her future TTC the next bub took over 2 years.
But she did get to bury her tiny angel in the garden under a beautiful tree and has placed a memorial plaque there.
I hope whatever you decide is the best for you and my thoughts are with you at this terrible time.
