If there is red blood am going through a miscarriage?

Just wanting to know if anyone knew anything similar to this.I should be just over 7 weeks pregnant but I have not really had a few days where I have not had some other colour CM other than brown but the last few days it has been red as red. It has not been just blood, it always seams to be really mixed in with CM (not bleeding like a period though) I haven't really had any bad cramping just occasionally I do notice that it has gone from brown to red. Any help?

It's really hard to say. It can be bad news, and it can be nothing. Best way to know anything is to have a viability scan. At 7 weeks they should be able to see something on a scan.

I hope it's just 'unexplained' bleeding. *hugs*

Hi, I had bright red bleeding with DD at about 9 weeks I think it was. Mine was just blood though not mixed with CM. It was quite heavy, needed to put a pad in my knickers (I was already in hospital at the time for HG so the nurse just told me to put a pad on & see how much blood there was in the morning)
It turned out in the morning there really wasnt alot but I had lost a bit before putting the pad in my knickers. It was a huge scare as I had lost my previous baby at 10 weeks & thought it was happening all over again (although with my previous baby there had been no bleeding or any signs of miscarriage)

I had a healthy baby after having that red bleed at about 9 weeks. The nurse said it is quite common

Hoping u have a sticky bub there. Just remember if it gets too heavy or u get cramping along with the bleed go see a Dr

    Wishing u all the best!

Hi kanda, I would go and get a scan done asap. There are ppl who bleed during pg and go on to have healthy bubs. I am not one of those ppl. If i bleed it's over. So i would go and get checked, at least you'll know either way. and much love from me xoxoxoxoxox
I'll be praying for you that everything's ok xoxoxo

I had brown spotting which turned to bright red bleeding and cramping from weeks 5-7 with this pregnancy. I'm 18 weeks now so obviously everything was fine. I was convinced I would m/c though as I had 4 times before! There was never an explanation for my bleeding but it stopped after I went on progesterone.
I hope you have a sticky baby in there! Good luck xx

Oh Kanda! I am so sorry babe. I can tell you from my experience with lots of women who I have nursed in emergency that there were many who came in with bleeding who lost their babies and also lots who had the same but kept their babies. There is no way to know other than having a scan. I had my scan yesterday and found out that I had a MC earlier this week My heartfelt sympathies

I had bleeding with DD, bright red and the 2nd time it was period heavy. But sometimes it's not good news - I hope it's just bleeding and all is well with your baby. Might be best to have a scan and see. All the best

This morning there is not heavy bleeding but the CM i have is red and my cervix feels open more than i would have thought it should. Still no cramping. This is my third baby but should I go see my GP or go straight to the emergency dept?

Kanda do what feels the best to you, I think the sooner you get checked out the better and put your mind at rest

Kanda- Personally i would go to my GP for a u/s form and go and get it done. My first 2 mc were between 4-5 weeks and the hospital was horrible, made me feel stupid for crying and i had to wait for hours. My last m/c when i was nearly 12 weeks i sat at the ED for hours crying (beacuse i had spotting, and it was read) and it was the middle of the night before i seen a doctor. And they wouldn't give me an u/s so i had waited there all night to not know anyway.
Good luck with whatever you decide hun, and i hope bub is just giving you a scare

I phoned my GP this morning and she is faxing over a referral for me this morning. I have an US appointment at 11am (1/2 an Hour). I have butterflies and I am not sure if they are cramps or not. I feel terrible as I don't know what I will do if they tell me my baby has gone.

Hun, do you have someone who can go with you? If things are bad (and i am praying hard they are not!) it would be horrible going through that by yourself. GL, im thinking of you FWIW, i had cramping alot this trimester, but it was stretching pain, hopefully that's all it is xoxoxox
