3D ultrasound

Hi. I am just wondering where I can go to get a 3d ultrasound? I live in Sydenham, Melbourne so north western? The last ultrasound I went for was not great no little tv on the wall to watch or no DVD recording on offer.

I went to Early Image in Melbourne for my last pregnancy and it was fantastic. I can't put the link in here so you will have to google it as they have all the info on their website. They are in Pahran.

Thanks! Do I need a referral from my doc? Do they do a general once over of the bubba too? Thanks heaps!

No referral is needed, you just ring and book. It it purely "entertainment" purposes and not medical. The packages they have a great and the rooms are set up well with a flatscreen to watch the whole thing etc. If you are unsure of the gender, you can ask them to double check for you if u wish.

yep, its not a 'clinical" scan so to speak! - purely for your entertainment and enjoyment

you do get to hear the heartbeat ( well i did!) but any other stuff to do with clinical exam is done at the 20 weeks morphology scan for which you would need/have gotten a referral for from your care provider

No, none of that is involved. Them scans are only organised through your caregiver.

Thanks. My 20 ultrasound is not offered through my hospital and I don't want to go back to the place I had my 12 wk at so I will have to keep on searching.
