Strange feeling of pressure

Hi, this post probably has a little tmi, just to let you guys know.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this before. I'm about 10 weeks now, and for the last few days I've been get this strange feeling of, well, they way I can describe it is as a feel of pressure, like a got a football in the way just under my belly button and if I sit down to quick or bend over in a funny way, it feels like this "football" is having pressure placed on it. Its not painful or anything. Also when I put on finger "in there" I can kinda feel something hard against the back wall halfway in. I was wondering if thats just my bowels getting shoved out the way, or whether its something to be worried about?

I've got my obs appointment in a week, and wasn't sure if its something to be concerned about now, or its just something rather normal. Sorry its my first pregnancy and I'm not sure what bits are suppose to feel like

Mmm weird not sure!

Your uterus is tucked behind your pubic bone for the first 12 weeks or so. So it can't be that. Sorry not much help am I lol

Hi Irena,

I remember feeling that way on and off through out the first trimester....I would say cos it is the first pregnancy everything in there is making or preparing to make room. Plus hormones will make you bloated making it football like hard at times. So honestly sweety, you have nothing to worry about. Everything is gunna stretch and get hard so don't worry, plus your bowels will be getting pushed around thats forsure

Thanks Curlygirly, it does kinda feel like my bowels being pushed out the way, it just feels really awkward, like they don't have anywhere to go and are just bumping against me all the time LOL

Totally understand! Maybe that is why constipation gets so common in pregnancy....no where for anything to fit in the end But sounds very normal. I'm still guessing with my symptoms everyday 2 so it never ends!
