    Question Steelcraft Strider Plus??

Ok i sold my Icandy Apple about 6 weeks ago and i miss it soooooooo much!!!
I bought a Peg perego Pliko 3 in pink and a grey colour but i just dont like it..
I bought it second hand and i cant adapt to it at all i had a peg perego about 10 yrs ago now and i loved it!! but this one i hate.. it doesnt compare to my Icandy and im seriously kicking myself for it.

So after much pursuading ive convinced DH to let me sell it and buy a strider i watched the little youtube box explaining all its bits and pieces and i actually like it..

so this will be my 3rd pram for my little nearly 4 month old DD.
I like it in the turqouise and the silver but also the black..

Has anyone got one? and how do you find it? What colour do you have?
Do you fold it with the seat attached? does it take up much boot room?
I have a mazda 3 sp23 hatch and my Icandy used to take up alot of the boot..
    Pls anyone?

Ok I have it in toffee. Haven't used it yt obv. You can fold it with the seat on but I find it easier not to. I have a Subaru impreza sedan and it takes up half the boot. I'm excited to use it lol honestly it's gorgeous

I have it in toffee. I take the top seat off and fold it with the bottom seat still attached or if I don't have the bottom seat I fold it with the top still attached. I have a wrx sti (sedan) and it takes up just over half the boot space. I can still fit the weekly shopping in there with the pram. It has been an awesome pram with the 2 close together. Great for walking, although can be a little heavy but that's just made me stronger

Hi just thought I'd drop in to say whilst i thought mine was a great pram on certain levels the width of back wheels and weight was not great for me.

The car thing - I had a Toyota echo and I used to unclip the seat and it went in fine, that was one of the Good things.

I sold it and I have a BJ city select now and i love it.

    thanks ladies!!

shar- if you have an echo and it fit i think it will fit ok then,
I had an icandy and it took up the whole boot..
laranna- you made me laugh!! do you mean the whole unit is heavy or just when getting it in and out of the car?
Ahurani- lol dont you love that when you have it sitting there and you just want to use it? lol i was like that with my icandy i used to get all mybaby neices in it and push it around my garage LOL

im going to go to the shop and check them all out.. i want to be shown all the ups and downs i have a max of 550 to spend and that is alot considering the headache i have given DH with all these prams lol

I have a black one, would have LOVED to get the Kingfisher one but DF wouldn't let me -.-
It's not bad, the width of the wheels can be a PITA sometimes- they do detach though if you need to get extra things in the car ie the food processer MIL bought the other week
It is fairly heavy too. Pushing uphill seems harder than when I had a bugaboo but then again DS is much bigger now so not sure.
I leave the seat on because we can and it's easier but it's not hard to put it on and off if you need to.
The locks on the front wheels annoy the heck outta me. Lol but that's because DF always manages to lock them accidentally when getting it out of the car.
Now to have another baby so I can use the second seat... Lol

I have the Strider Plus 3 in caramel, and I'm a bit the same as Ahurani - can't use it yet but I can't wait! The main reason I chose the 3 wheeler over the 4 is because the lock for the front wheels is on the handle instead of the front. I've found it easy to fold, and while it is a little heavy I can get it up into the back of our Patrol just fine. The main reason we got it is that we both think it looks great lol

We were going to get the Strider Plus but it seemed so wide...... we ended up getting the Baby Jogger City Select and just love it!!! It's not as wide as the strider. We'll be using it with double seats once bub arrives.
We also think it steers easier than the strider too, as we tried it out in the shop also.... but each to their own hey.

i have it in toffee. i take the seat off and put in boot seperately. (not so heavy).
one thing i find is if im walking next to DP while he's pushing the pram, i ALWAYS kick my toes on the back wheels. lol.

I have the Plus in Toffee and I LOVE IT!

    Yes it is heavy
    Yes it is wide
Yes it does take up a bit of room (Ford Territory)

    BUT

    It has soooooooo much room
    Top seat is reversible
Heaps of room for toddler in 2nd seat
    SO much shopping space
Looks funky and is very sturdy
All the extras are included in price and theres heaps of them
very reasonably priced for a double (or single) pram

I get stopped at least once a week to ask about it and im sure I must have increased the sales on it by heaps.

I love it and after 5 kids I have tried a few prams in my time

I have the PLus in 4 wheeler with the second seat. I LOVE my pram. Yes it is a little wide, but I can fit through all doorways and haven't struggled that much when shopping for clothes.
It's so sturdy in the 4 wheel and I can steer it with one hand. It does take up boot space but we can still fit quite a lot in our boot cause it's huge!

    I would Definitely recommend it!!!

I have it in the Kingfisher colour and i absolutely LOVE it!!!! I agree yes its heavy, wide and take up a lot of boot space but we walk a lot and its a great walking pram. And its great for doing shopping. I always get people asking about it, and have two friends go out and buy the same pram for their bubs. I love that the seat is reversable and can have a toddler seat attached. I especially love the colour! It really stands out from all the others.

    You won't be disappointed!!

Oh and if it helps at all the BCJ select isn't much narrower... so really for the price and quality it is amazing!

I want it in white tho!! Damn it, they didn't have the white available when I bought mine!

    Thanks heaps ladies!!

Well I went to baby kingdom today and checked it out!
I liked it heaps but was abit freaked out how good the features are!!
I have the ahr car seat n they are like astronaut chairs lol so advanced and the pram is right behind that!!
I couldn't believe how easy to lay it down and change the back rest is!!
And I love the thought that the actual bar can be moved up and down!
I was still abit iffy on the size and the width between the wheels but I don't car I just want to be comfortable pushing it and dd to be comfy in it too
Oh and I loved the safety bar I could actually put toys she could grab on it
