I just bought the Angelcare Nappy Disposal System. At the risk of sounding incredibly stupid, I'm having a bit of trouble putting it together. There were 3 pieces in the box - the top half of the bin, the bottom half of the bin and an extra piece. The two halves went together fine but it is the extra bit I'm not sure of.
It looks kind of like a handle - rectangular-ish shape with an oval cut out in the middle. At each end are some notches that are about the same size as the hinge. It doesn't appear to attach to the hinge though and I can't see anywhere else it might fit. It isn't shown anywhere on the instructions that I can see.
Does anyone have one of these bins and know what to do with this piece?
I emailed the company and got a quick response. Apparently it's just part of the packaging. I knew I'd feel really stupid when I found out what it was for
Not a stupid question - I bought the same thing and spent forever trying to work out what that part was! I was thinking it was to hold the hinge together cos I didn't find the little metal rod thing. I seriously sat there for half an hour with the little plastic part lol
HAHA! I've done that on something before hun! Don't feel stupid. If it looks like it belongs to the item then it's better to check it's not before throwing it out!
