I had a emergency c sectiong for DD 2 years ago and am back at the Redlands for my secondthey have slightly encouraged me to have a vbac and i just wondered if anyone had any experience there?i just remember last time because DD was in distress i had to be only on the bed etc and i hated it,i also know being as its a smaller less equipped hospital i think they do take extra precautions etc so i was just wondering if anyone has had a vbac there and if so how did it go?were you bed bound and highly monitored and did you end up with another c section?
1PJ: Just last wednesday i was at a girlfriends VBAC at Redlands and Last April i was at another friends VBAC. I have also birthed at Redlands.... PM me if you want to talk some more
I'm a student Midwife at Redlands, as well as having birthed there myself. I haven't got any experience with vbac at this particular hospital but you are well within your rights to refuse any intervention that is suggested, including laying on the bed etc. Please pm me if you are interested in some extra support from a student midwife or if there are any other questions I may be able to answer for you or find out for you
