Yep. i was given a redundancy package and was looking for work when i found out i was pregnant.
I stopped applying for jobs in my preferred area when i was about 12 weeks pregnant because the jobs i was applying were required long term commitment that i couldn't give. My field of work is pretty small and so i didn't want to damage my chances of long term employment in the future by taking on a long term position and not revealing my pregnancy when it would affect my ability to do the job.
I did get work in a sort of side work from my main interest, and worked there until i was 40 weeks pregnant. I have recently returned there one day a week. It is not where i want to be in 4 years but it is paying the bills and it is giving me experience for my CV that will help me get the job that i do want when my home life is ready for that job.
I was applying for short term and casual positions, but also dropped my CV in to a number of employers- and this is where i got the most success.
In early pregnancy i didn't feel the need to reveal my pregnancy to any potential employee. The job that i did get, after being offered the job, i brought it with the employer and they were happy with me to take the job.
Don't hold back from applying for positions if you want to work now. Think widely about different positions that may help you to get a position in the future (if you are not successful in getting your dream position now).
