Pram liner/footmuff/sheepskin for Bugaboo Cameleon
So, I've started looking for something for my Cameleon for when the weather cools down, but I don't now if I need just a normal pram liner, a sheepskin one, or a sheepskin footmuff. We live in Perth so although it gets chilly, it doesn't get absolutely freezing. Will a sheepskin footmuff be too much for our mildish winters? Or am I better to get a lighterweight footmuff and then put bub in lots of clothes (he is currently 4 months old)? Obviously I would rather only buy one liner, so what are the pros and cons of all the options please? What do other Perth residents use? And other Cam mummies?
I live in Bunbury and I've only ever used a sheepskin liner thing. I leave it in all year round. Because sheep skin is a natural fibre it breaths well too, and doesn't sweat in summer
I never used a footmuff. Both my girls are May babies so they were still very little during winter. If it was a really cold day I would have them in either socks or some sort of outfit with built in feet, and then a blanket. Like helle, I used a sheepskin all year round for the same reasons she said.
I'm not sure we're even going to have a winter this year!
We're in Canberra (so a bit chillier than Perth!!) and we didn't bother getting any of those for our bugaboo, we just used blankets in the cooler weather. I would think the footmuff should be warm enough for where you are!
