Am I imagining it or are the Braxton hicks I feel stronger this time around?
Just wondering if anyone else seemed to have more prominant BH in their second or subsequent pregnancies? I can't remember feeling them really with DD. I'm not sure if it's because I'm more aware of what my body is doing this time around or such. Experiences ladies? I do have an Ob appointment tomorrow but it's nice to not get the textbook reply
I just feel my belly firm up and then release like I'm really bloated all of a sudden for about 10 seconds (and no, it wasn't a case of the farts ) . I thought I was imagining it. It had me worried for a little while but then I realised it was more at the front and no back pain. I think I had a mega case of baby brain because I forgot about them then had a light bulb moment
That definately sounds like BH! I started getting them at 14 weeks with #2 and 9 weeks with #3! I don't think I got them until 28 weeks or so with #1.
Hopefully this means we will have super efficient uteruses (is that even a word!? Haha) and really fast labours! Well, we can hope!
From a non-preggy perspective, I never used to notice gas bubbles, etc. Now, I swear I could be preggers from how much I feel in my belly! But if I was, I'd have a lot of explaining to do to DH! And myself!
lol Stoked. I'm hoping I don't get too fast labour because I was induced last time and they turned the drip off after initially starting it... 6 hour labour and 4 hours of that was on my own without the drip. MW was saying that judging by that, next labour will be pretty quick. After transition DD was out in 20 minutes!
Entreat, I'd love to be a fly on the wall if you were UTD and trying to explain it to your DH! That'd be amusing
Yup, definitely. I never noticed any with my first pregnancy, just some cramping a day or so before I went into labour. With my subsequent pregnancies they got more noticeable; with my last they were quite uncomfortable, on the verge of being painful.
