    Help re-assure me!

So, I am heading to the last couple of weeks in the first trimester and I am starting to get worried that its not going alright!

This pg is totally different than my first one. With DD I had m/s since 6/7 wks through to 13 wks and this time nothing!! I had felt the odd queasiness if I let myself get too hungry but I havent thrown up once (I am happy that I havent thrown up but atleast the m/s was a definite sign that all was ticking along correctly!!

Last pg by now I had more of a belly. I really thought that I would start to show early since this is my second pg but I guess all my time I have spent in the gym has helped my stomach muscles stay in place a little longer?!

Sure I have foods that I cant eat - cant stand chicken or anything sweet or anything too over powering in taste. But I am loving my healthy foods and fruit..

Weight wise - I havent gained a heck of a lot but I guess that goes with the healthy eating and still going to the gym and exercising. I jumped on the scales this morning and I am actually 200g lighter than what I was yesterday!

I know I am young and healthy and have had no history in miscarriages but its just a little bit scarey because I feel absolutely normal.... I have my next doc appt tomorrow and am really scared that he will not be able to find a heartbeat....

Please just tell me that I am being silly and everything will be a-ok!!

I still have some internet HPTs in my cupboard, maybe I should just POAS to see those two lines??!! But then I am scared that nothing will come up!!

Hun, one thing you have to remember is not every pregnancy will be the same, and sometimes it indicates you may be carrying the opposite sex, due to the difference in acquired tastes etc..
As for weight loss, that is normal as long its not a dramatic loss, and due to you being so healthy BTW good on you lol!! yoour body is probably taking this one alot easier..
Every pregnancy i had was different and ive had a fair few!! Just try and stay positive and remain calm, getting paranoid would make you go crazy lol

I hope you go to your dr appt, and hear your gorgeous bubba's heart pounding and growing just beautifully

my 2nd pregnancy was so different to my 1st as well..

With DD, I was sick all the time till about 15 weeks, (work found out at 7 weeks cause I would be in the toilets a few times a day, LOL), then I went on to have a smooth pg with the occasional high BP reading (always after a hectic commute though).

With DS, nothing. If I hadn't done a POAS and had scans, I would never have known I was preg till my indigestion started and DS engaged from about 27 weeks.. (well I had a bump, but none of the common pregnancy ailments)..

I am sure that it is just a different pg for you.

Thanks ladies you have made me feel a bit better I guess it goes to show every pg is different! And hey I might be having a boy so that could explain the difference, still a while til I find out tho.

YEah I am thinking you may be carrying a boy this time round. If you have been keeping up with a healthy lifestyle then you are reaping the rewards of a healthy easy pregnancy. Enjoy it

Just a warning though... While you *should* be able to pick up a heartbeat with the doppler at 10 weeks. Don't be too concerned if your Dr can't or even refuses to try at this point.

All my pregnancies have been different. My first, I was throwing up everyday for 22 weeks. The second, I felt like cr*p but only threw up twice after swallowing multivitamins! The third, nothing. I only ever felt slightly queasy if I was hungry but didn't really have any other obvious symptoms. I was sure something must have been wrong but here I am at 23 weeks.
It's such a worrying and scary time but every pregnancy really is very different!

My appointment was good today. All the usual checks were good, still can't feel my uterus yet. Heart beat wasn't picked up so couldn't hear it but seen the beats per min and I think it was 139 but lost it quite quick. My doc told me not to stress too much cause every pg is different and since my body has done it all before it's not going to get the usual pains. Got referral for my NT tests so can't wait to see Boots up on the screen!
