Does dd know something i dont know?

Dd is 3 and an only child. We dont know if/when we will have another child but she keeps saying her little brother is in my tummy but hes not ready yet. Im not pregnant and couldnt be nore are we ttc. Is this just normal 3yo behaviour or is she "seeing something"?

    She could be seeing something.

ummm, children are fairly in tune with what is going on. She might be seeing something now or in the future :-)

i agree with the others, children are quite spiritual and especially around her age

when i was pregnant with DS2 before we knew he was a boy we would ask DS1 is he having a brother or sister and he kept saying a brother when we had the 19wk scan it showed a brother

If your not TTC and actually trying to prevent becoming pregnant then i would assume she is seeing something in the near future!

Children are very imaginative, she may have seen something on tv that was along those similar lines, or over heard something or very well she could be seeing something thats coming in the future.

children are very good at knowing things, Ds1 always knew he was having another brother, and now still says he has 3 brothers (i dont know if he means the m/c i had or if their will be another brother in the future) either way he's always been right!

I agree with the others, I think she's seeing something for the future!!

When I fell PG with DS, DD was almost 3yrs old. She told me I had a baby boy in my tummy & called him "Toby" from the day she was told! She was obvioulsy right about his gender & I decided to use the name Tobias so we could call him Toby just like his sister wanted

DD's daycare teacher was also pregnant when I was. I asked her if her teacher was having a girl or boy (her teacher didnt find out the gender) & it turned out DD was right then aswell. She has been able to correctly guess the gender of a few other owmans babies since & I am just amazed by it! (Havent tried lately though)
